I recently met an incredible poet, someone who has inspired me for a very long time. And, instead of the fireworks I expected to happen - it was a very stilted conversation where I proclaimed my love for them and they just said “thank you!”…🙈
I wondered why I couldn’t connect with them in the same way in person as I could through their work. “Ultimate Connection” depicts the feeling I knew to exist, but could not quite tap into…
